Ace Your Berklee Audition with the Insider’s Guide
Applying to Berklee College of Music requires an audition and/or interview. Berklee’s unique admissions process allows us to learn about you while assessing your potential to succeed in our dynamic community. The strength of your audition and/or interview is taken into consideration when we award merit-based scholarships, so we recommend preparing early using the tips found in our insider’s guide to auditions and interviews.
Who Needs to Audition?
Applicants to any one of our 15+Bachelor of Music majors or the Bachelor of Arts in Black Music in Culture program are required to complete a live audition and interview, which we conduct on our Boston campus, at locations around the world, and online.
Applicants to the Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry Leadership and Innovation program do not audition, but are required to complete an online interview.
