Our one-year Master of Arts in Creative Media and Technology, specializing in writing and production for musical theater, gives students access to Berklee NYC’s state-of-the-art recording and video production facility, located just down the street from Broadway theaters, Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Performing Arts Library.

In this program, you will:

Record your songs in the same studios where Broadway cast albums are made

Julianne Wick Davis

Program Director, Writing and Production for Musical Theater

Julianne Wick Davis is a critically acclaimed composer and lyricist who has received numerous awards including the Jonathan Larson Award in 2012. Her most recent work with long-time collaborator Dan Collins, Trevor (music), opened off-Broadway in 2021 after its successful premiere at Writer’s Theatre, Chicago, where it received a Jefferson Award for Outstanding New Musical. Wick Davis was named one of the Fifty Women to Watch in 2020 by the Broadway Woman’s Fund, and received a 2020 Lotte Lenya Competition Songbook Series Award from the Kurt Weill Foundation. She earned an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
