Commercial Dance Intensive

Three Weeks (Boston, MA)

Discover what it takes to succeed in the commercial dance industry. From breaking/popping, to hip-hop, jazz-funk, lyrical-jazz, and urban dance styles, this intensive will prepare you for opportunities in video, film, and live music concerts. Transform your technique with instruction from renowned faculty and gain valuable career advice from acclaimed guest artists who have performed with some of the biggest names in the industry.

High School Composition IntensiveTwo Weeks (Boston, MA)

Challenge your creative process as you learn how to compose effectively under time constraints. This intensive will expand your compositional toolset and provide practical experience writing for an ensemble. Receive direct feedback from our knowledgeable faculty and hear performances of your scores from professional musicians. By the end of this program, you will have three complete scores with audio recordings to add to your portfolio.

Musical Theater Acting IntensiveThree Weeks (Boston, MA)

Explore the complex art of character development from Broadway veterans. In a rigorous schedule complete with intensive studies in acting, singing, and movement, you will become immersed in classical and contemporary repertoire ranging from Shakespeare to rock. Practice and refine your audition skills so you can feel confident for your next big audition.

Musical Theater Dance IntensiveThree Weeks (Boston, MA)

This intensive for experienced dancers will strengthen your performance skills and expand your theater knowledge. Sharpen your technique in ballet, jazz, and theater dance while enhancing your voice and acting skills to become a well-rounded performer. With instruction from Broadway veterans and acclaimed faculty, you will gain valuable career insight and develop the confidence necessary to succeed in the industry.

Summer Dance Intensive

Three Weeks (Boston, MA)

Take your dance training to the next level and transform your technique in this immersive, rigorous program. Expand your knowledge of contemporary ballet, modern dance, and improvisation as you focus on improving your form and technique. Experience Boston Conservatory’s trademark instruction that combines rigorous training with a cutting-edge approach to contemporary dance.

Vocal/Choral IntensiveTwo Weeks (Boston, MA)

Delve deeper into musical theater or classical music as a solo performer. You will strengthen your skills with proper technique and work with faculty who have years of experience training young singing artists. Experience voice lessons, coachings, and master classes and perform in choral ensembles to solidify what you have learned. Explore the career opportunities for professional choruses and theater.

Brass WorkshopFive Days (Boston, MA)

This joint Boston Conservatory at Berklee/Berklee College of Music program gives students (ages 15 and older) a chance to study jazz or classical music with Berklee's diverse, world-class faculty comprising some of the East Coast's most renowned musicians.

Youth Musical Theater ProgramOne or Two Weeks (Boston, MA)

This program is a perfect introduction to musical theater for students (ages 12–14) who have always wanted to give theater a try, as well as those who have already gotten started. It's also great for students looking to take one of our high school-level summer intensives in the future, who want to sample Boston Conservatory’s signature training paced for a younger audience.
